GHM presented at MuseumNext 2021

GHM Academy (GHM) is pleased to announce that John Swettenham from the Canadian Museum of Nature, a GHM Content Partner, will be speaking at the MuseumNext Conference, which is from Nov. 22-24, 2021. John will discuss Flavours of Virtual Tours to Build Engagement, and how GHM Academy helps them with that. As museums had to shut down, there was a great need to present the museum’s collections virtually. In his presentation, John will explain how his museum responded during the pandemic and how GHM Academy was used to present virtual tours. Virtual tours are something that are here to stay, even after the pandemic is over, so there is a great need to learn how to do them well to ensure they stay relevant.

In GHM Academy, XBooks (or lessons) can be created so that a museum’s content can be presented in a fun, engaging, and visually appealing way. GHM can also be used to present direct tours, either 3D, such as with Matterport, or regular 2D tours, as a video imbedded into content. This gives great options for content partners to produce content that will be the best fit for them. Using images, videos, and text, as well as maps, 3D tours, and games, museums can produce content on a wide range of subjects, and GHM is able to be used to ensure that all types of topics will be presented in the best way possible.
